A rare color antique hetian nephrite jade pendant depicting two pomegranates on a branch. It has a beautiful fatty luster and silky texture. The color is a grayish white with black areas. There is a pendant bail of 22K gold. The pendant weighs 70.6 grams and measures approximately 2 inches long and high. It dates to the Qing Dynasty early 1800s. Fine condition with no cracks or chips.
This piece was verbally authenticated by the San Francisco Asian Art Museum in 1974 as part of my collection. I have been collecting and selling jade for many years.
PLEASE NOTE: The pendant neck chain is NOT included. It is used in the photos to indicate the pendant size when being worn.
