A beautiful large nephrite jade mountain landscape carving with trees and people. Nice quality celadon green and brown nephrite jade. Good carving. Fine condition with no chips or cracks. Wonderful fatty luster and silky feel. Dates from the Qing Dynasty, 1800s. Measures approximately 5.75 inches high and 4 inches wide. Weighs 1 pound 7 ounces. Chinese scholars often kept these wondeful mountain sculptures on their desks to contemplate the beauty of nature.
