A jade animal guardian in white Hetian nephrite jade dating from the Qing Dynasty 1800s is currently mounted as a fondling or pocket piece on a black cord. It can also e worn as a pendant on a different neck cord if desired. The jade i a beautiful even color with a fatty luster and silky eel. It measures approximately 2.25 inches in length an weighs 66.5 grams. I have been collecting and selling jade for many years and this is part of my collection which was verbally authenticated by the San Francisco Asian Art Museum in 1974.
