A fine quality antique nephrite jade bangle with very fine double carving This is hetian jade from the Khotan province. The color is a white with tan areas and the carving is excellent. Qing Dynasty late 18th/early 19th century. It has a fatty luster and smooth finish. The carving in unusual in that it combines lace-like openwork carving with a double carved panel. The bangle measures a little under 1 inch wide (19 mm) with an inside diameter of 2.5 inches (62 mm). It is in very good antique condition with no chips or cracks. it weighs 90.5 grams.
