Jade Fish Pendant Necklace, Hetian Nephrite, Qing
A Hetian nephrite jade pendant necklace of carved fish dating from the Qing Dynasty. An adjustable length neck cord is included. In Chinese culture fish are a symbol of wealth and prosperity. This carving measures approximately 2.5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and weighs 56.5 grams. The color is a pale celadon green with a beautiful fatty luster and silky feel. A piece of historical significance for men or women.
